SwiftScan

Swiftscan is a device to facilitate the capture of leads generated on an exhibition stand. Combining barcode technology and the mobile phone network, lead data is captured, qualified and stored in a few easy steps.

SwiftScan is a Bluetooth barcode reader coupled with a mobile phone. It is light weight and battery powered, so completely portable and offers an efficient and accurate method of managing exhibition leads.

The data is captured by scanning a barcode on the visitor’s badge. The scanning is a very simple point and scan process; however, the read range of the device is limited to within 15cm to prevent the unauthorised capture of a visitor’s information.

The lead can then qualified by answering some questions. These can be generic questions as outlined below or can be customised with questions relevant to the exhibiting company. (If customised questioned are to be set up it is recommended that the number of questions be limited to a maximum of 6). Free hand notes can also be added using the phone keyboard.

The data is then stored locally on the SwiftScan device and also sent to a secure webpage via the mobile phone GPRS network. Exhibitors are provided a unique password so they can log in and view their leads in real time. The leads can also be downloaded in Excel or CSV format.

Leads will remain on the website for a period of 90 days.
